Polls open today for Taunton's state election
The Town of Taunton announced that polls are open today, Nov. 3, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the state election, and said results may be posted later than usual because of new double-sided ballots.
The Town of Taunton announced that today, Nov. 3, is Election Day, with polls open for the state election from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Residents can check a sample ballot before heading to vote and can find their polling location using the state's where-to-vote tool.
The town said election results will be posted on the city's 2026 elections webpage as soon as they are available. Because of the complexity of processing two-page, double-sided ballots, the town said results may not be available as early as in previous years.
Residents with questions can contact the Elections Department at 508-821-1044 or elections@taunton-ma.gov.
