Taunton Youth Basketball's free Spring Shootout wrapped up for the season as the Fourth of July holiday week began.

TAUNTON -- The Taunton Youth Basketball Spring Shootout, a free Wednesday-night program organized by Coach Chris Green, concluded its run June 24 at Taunton High School, finishing just before the Independence Day holiday period.

YOUTH LEAGUES

The Spring Shootout operated three divisions at Taunton High School: an elementary division for grades 2–4 (6 p.m.), a middle school division for grades 5–7 (7 p.m.), and a high school division for grades 8–9 (8 p.m.). The league, which ran every Wednesday beginning April 29, was offered at no cost. Registration for the season is now closed, according to the Taunton Youth Basketball website.

No high school game results were reported for the June 29–July 5 period.
